Developed by Lisa Bedinger, Camille Koosmann, and Annie O’Shaughnessy, this guide will support you in offering daily check-ins. "Check-ins" are specifically designed to not become "therapy-like" experiences. Check-ins serve multiple goals:

  • first, to offer "street data" on the capacity of the group you are working with;
  • second, to build self-awareness so we can do what we need to do to strengthen our individual and collective wellbeing; and,
  • third, to build connectedness and belonging, two of the strongest protective factors against many adverse experiences for youth and adults.
