Staying calm and grounded during stressful situations is the MOST important strategy for supporting dysregulated students. When we have strong self-awareness and self-regulation skills we offer students immediate co-regulation. This quality of grounded presence is more important than any technique you can offer. This is an activity to support educators' self-awareness.
